GCI Believes in Giving Back
Our partners that work with us make the world a better place. At GCI, a key element of our DNA is the firm belief that it is important to “Give Back”. Through the Lamin & Kadie Bah Foundation, CEO Lamin Bah has refurbished schools, installed multiple water wells, conducted medical mission trips, mentored children at schools and orphanages, and has provided containers full of toys for underprivileged children.
Currently, the most ambitious project for the Foundation is the Lamin & Kadie Bah Academy, a secondary school in Pate Bana Marank that educates 350 children completely free of charge. Learn more about The Lamin & Kadie Bah Academy
Education
We believe education is a way to combat poverty. Investing in our youth means investing in our future. With literacy rates below 50% in Sierra Leone & Guinea, education is our top priority.
Healthcare
In Sierra Leone & Guinea, people often have to walk for miles to get to the nearest clinic. We’re empowering communities through medical mission trips, facilitating access to medicine, medical care, and training for local nurses.
